January 12, Entry 25
Tonight we have a basketball game against Alburnett. We usually win against them but I don't know how good their sophomores are. Last year we won because I stole the ball from the point and made a layup. I totally fouled her though. I thought they were going to call it but they didn't. The girl that I stole the ball from was really mad that they didn't call the foul. That's the only thing I remember from that game though. I hope we don't play in the old, sucky gym tonight. The JV boys and Varsity boys and girls also have a game. The varsity should do good. The JV boys always have really tall people on the other teams that we play which gives our JV boys a disadvantage. Alburnett; my husband went there. I don't know how I like the new additions to that building. The entrance definitely looks strange with those metal poles--or whatever you want to call them.
