May 13, Entry 44

We just watched a video with this kid sings a Lady Gaga song. He sang Paparazzi. It's one of her newer songs. He did a very good job at singing it. It actually sounded like her for the most part. That's kind of sad though considering it was a guy singing. Overall though, it was really good. I don't really listen to Lady Gaga's songs; only the ones that are on the radio. I heard her videos are pretty messed up though. She goes crazy with them! I've never watched one of her videos before. I probably will sooner or later though. I always forget to look them up. When I finally remember to look them up, I'm always at my dad's house. Youtube videos there take forever to load. I rarely get on Youtube at my dad's because I always listen to my iPod. I hook up my iPod to the computer speakers and jam out.

May 11, Entry 43

I did not come to school yesterday because I had a dentist appointment. My mom had a dentist at the same time as I did. After our dentist appointments, we went to my mom's doctor's appointment. That only took like 20 minutes. Then we went to Applebee's. We ate there then we went shopping! We went to Coralridge Mall. I bought two pairs of jeans, a belt, some socks, and some shoes. I had to order my shoes because Journey's didn't have them in stock. We wondered around the mall for about an hour and went home. I didn't do much when I got home.

May 6, Entry 42

Blah blah blah. I am bored and tired. I wish I wouldn't have come to school today. I have a track meet tonight so that wouldn't be a good idea. My team mates would be pretty upset. Tonight's our conference meet. I am running relays and doing long jump. I am getting sick and tired of long jump. It's getting so boring. I just wish it was summer. No waking up for school so early. No homework. No sports. I can be as lazy as I want. I'm probably not even going to be home for most of the summer. My brother is going to be out at my house every weekend and we're going to go fishing and have bonfires. I just can't wait.

April 15, Entry 41

OMG. I wish it was the weekend. I'm so tired of school. I want school to get out all together. I can't wait until summer. I will be with my friends all the time and make my parents more pissed. They hate it that I'm always gone every weekend. They just need to deal with it. I just can't wait until summer. I'm so tired of doing homework. I think that by the end of the year I probably won't be doing a lot of my homework. I hardly even do any of it now. I always have a study hall to do it in. I'm also tired of sports. I just want to relax and enjoy my summer. My brother said he wants to build a tree fort this summer. That would be awesome. He is probably going to be out at my house every day. He comes out almost every weekend now. It's always fun when he comes out because I like playing with his kids. I also hang out with his girlfriend and his brother. We always find something to do. Usually we have fires and we go into the woods and look for firewood. We also are building a dam in the creek behind my house. We made a lot of new trails last year. My neighbor is building a paintball course back there. I don't like that idea because we probably won't be able to go into the woods much because my neighbor is probably going to be having a war. We can still hang out in my yard though. I also can't wait until my brother gets his motorcycle out. That's always fun to ride. I hope we get our little motorcycle out so my niece and nephew can maybe ride it. That would be so cute. I would love to see them learn how to ride a motorcycle. I don't even know though... I hope I don't have much homework tonight and that track will not be that hard. My leg has been killing me. Whenever I run, underneath my knee, it pops. I don't know what's popping but it hurts the more I run. I hope nothing is seriously wrong with me.

April 13, Entry 40

I don't even know. Track is kind of boring right now. We've had two meets so far. We have a meet tonight at Anamosa. I'm running in the 4x100 and the open JV 100. I'm also doing long jump. My longest jump for long jump is 15'6". I just got that at the last track meet. My longest jump before was 15'2". My fastest 100 time is 12.78. I got that time last year at one of the last track meets. This year it's very different because I do events that I didn't do last year. I only ran in the 4x100 like twice last year. I don't really like relays that much. I'm afraid that I'm going to drop the baton and be filled with guilt for the rest of my life. I like the opens. I hate running opens though when it's really windy out and you have to run into the wind. That sucks. My times are horrible when I have to run into the wind.

I don't really like sports that much anymore. I will play soccer this year because it's my favorite sport. I've gotten so lazy though lately. I don't know what's gotten into me. I really don't want to go out for basketball next year. It will be really weird because the seniors are leaving. I don't know.

March 30, Entry 39

Track. I really couldn't wait until track started but now I just want it to end. I am sick and tired of it already. But I am not a quitter. I will finish out the season. I have been so lazy lately. I haven't even really been doing my homework. I think that track keeps my life busy though, so I'm not so bored. This weekend is Spring Break and I can't wait! It's going to be a really fun weekend. I haven't really decided what I'm going to do but I think I'm going to be hanging out with friends. I'm probably going to have a bonfire one night and have my brother come out to my house. That is always fun.

Carlton Keedy. Sam met him at speech. She talks about him a lot at school. They are lovers now. Lol. I have never met him but I heard he was nerdy. I have seen a picture of him and he’s not hot, but he’s not ugly either. I want to meet him sometime. He is really smart and Sam picked the right guy. I think that she talks to him too much though. It has been so nice out lately. I can't wait for Summer!! It's been kind of rainy the past couple of days though but it's been so warm. I don't mind that it's raining because it's better than snow. All the snow is pretty much melted. Just a few spots out in the country are still covered. I'm glad that the snow is melting because now I can walk through my yard on the way to school from my moms.

In the summer I like to hang out with friends and my family. I usually spend all summer with my brother and his girlfriend and their kids. It is so much fun when they come out to my dads house. We just do random things in the woods. We go fishing, camping, walking, exploring, etc. It is always a blast when they come out though. I can't wait for this summer because I'm going to go fishing in places that I've never gone before. I'm also going to have a bonfire at my dads with family and friends. The best thing about summer though is eating yummy steak cooked on the grill. The food my dad makes on the grill is just fantastic. He doesn't cook on the grill much in the winter because it's cold and usually snowing. The grill is outside under a tree, so there's not much protection.

Some things I would take into hiding:

• clothes-so I'm not naked
• shoes-I don't want to be barefooted
• collector's pennies-it's a keepsake of mine
• bag-to keep some of my stuff in
• a few board games-to keep my family and I occupied
• hair ties-to put my hair up
• hair straightener-to straighten my hair
• toothpaste and toothbrush-to have something to brush my teeth with
• hair brush- so I can brush my hair

I searched my name, Theresa, at UrbanDictionary.com. It says I am a cute, smart, talented girl. I think that’s totally true. I’m not that smart, but smarter than most of the kids my age. I am talented with sports. I don’t really know any of my other talents. It says to never piss me off or it will be your worst nightmare. Actually, that’s not true. If you piss me off I will just ignore you. I won’t hurt you in any way. I just don’t talk to you for a while. It also says that once you lose my trust it is hard to regain it. That’s kind of true. I can forgive someone pretty easily.

February 25, Entry 33

Ahh... basketball season is still dragging on but only for the boys. I can't wait until track. The girls varsity was done last Tuesday I think. I don't remember though. I didn't get to play, which was depressing... We lost by like 20 points I think. It wasn't the best game. So now the girls are done with basketball. I still haven't handed in my uniform yet though. I don't know when the coaches will want them.

The boys started their districts last Thursday, I think. They played against Springville and won. It was 42-40. It was a really intense game. They had a game on Tuesday this week that was against Lone Tree at Lone Tree. That was a long drive... I rode the pep-bus. It was a fun ride up and back though. They won, of course. There is a game tonight at Solon against Lisbon. They better win. Good luck boys! :))

February 11, Entry 32

Hmm... lets see. Varsity girls have a game tonight against Alburnett for districts. We better win. We beat them the two times we played them during the season. So we should do really well against them. We also played really well against Midland and North Linn who have better rankings then we do. Those two teams have won most of their games. We were 10-11 for the season but we did really well at the end. We have a really good chance at beating Alburnett. Whoever wins the game tonight either plays East Buchanan or Don Bosco. The East Buchanan and Don Bosco game is tonight at a different place. I don't know where though. Whoever wins that game plays against whoever wins tonight, either us or Alburnett. I most likely won't get to play tonight because it's always a really close score with Alburnett. Coach Griggs said that if we are way ahead by halftime that she will wrap my ankles, which means I might get to play. I don't think we will be way ahead at halftime. I think it's going to be a pretty close score.

February 4, Entry 31

Today is Thursday. Tomorrow is Friday. It's supposed to snow tomorrow. I don't know how much snow we're supposed to get but I hope it's a lot. If it snows a lot to make school cancelled, I hope we don't have school but we will still have a game. We play North Linn tomorrow for basketball. The last time we played North Linn we didn't have school that day because of snow but we still had the game that night. I don't really care if we have a game or not but everyone else does on our team. I think we are going to play well. North Linn' JV team beat Maq. Valley so I don't know how well we'll do against them. We have become a better team as well as them. We usually get beat by about 15-20 every time we play them. I just hope we do well tomorrow and there is no school.

February 3, Entry 30

Last night there was a basketball game at Cascade. The girls JV played, then JV boys. We played in the same gym. We both lost our games. I made 8 points though! Yay! The Varsity girls and boys played in another gym. We had to walk outside in the freezing cold weather just to get to the other gym. It wasn't really that cold I guess, but it was cold enough. I had to sit for the Varsity girls, like I always do. They lost. The boys Varsity also lost. It was pretty depressing. I don't like how they have been losing a lot of their games lately. That's really depressing. There's nothing I can do about it though. I hope they win during districts. That would be awesome! The girls Varsity better do good in districts too. Our first game is against Alburnett. We are going to win against them. No doubt about it. I can't remember who our next game is against though. We better win though.

January 28, Entry 29

There are four different seasons; spring, summer, fall, and winter. My birthday is in the summer. It's June 12. It's not my favorite season though because it always gets too hot. My favorite season is fall. The weather is perfect. I love when the leaves change colors. Fall is so beautiful. I go on walks with my dad and we go to the park across the bridge and look at the leaves on the trees. They are very pretty. I also like winter because I don't have to mow or do anything outside. In the spring, summer, and some of fall, I have to mow every weekend. I usually get paid for it so that's okay. I don't really like spring because that's when all of the bugs start coming out. I hate bugs. I really hate it when the mosquitos, gnats, and lady bugs come out. They are so annoying! The lady bugs are all over our house and the gnats and mosquitos are always bothering me.

January 26, Entry 28

I had a great weekend! I played Call of Duty all day Saturday and then went to the Marriot with Sam and Josie. We played Monopoly and had a 20" pizza. The pizza was amazing. The Monopoly game was funny because Sam's brother was saying funny comments because he was losing. He was funny. We spent the night at the Marriot and I went home the next morning around 11. We had breakfast sent to our room that was really good. We had sausage and gravy with hashbrowns.

January 21, Entry 27

If I was the last person on Earth I would probably kill myself. I wouldn't have anyone to talk to and I'd be bored all the time. My life mostly revolves around my family and friends. If it was just me though, I'd probably watch t.v. and be on the computer a lot. I would play my PS3 a lot too. If one of my friends were with me I could at least have someone to talk to. I would never like to be the last person on Earth. I would like my family and a few friends to be with me.

January 19, Entry 26

Last weekend I went to my brothers on Saturday. My dad got off work and came over to pick me up but we ended up staying for there for another four hours. It was really weird because my dad usually doesn't like being in his house because it's too hot. I liked staying there because I got to be on his computer and watch football games. We also ate grilled cheese for lunch there. On Saturday I went through my clothes and got all the ones that didn't fit. There was so many t-shirts that I gave away. I also went through pants and sweatshirts. My dad and I also hooked up the internet for my PS3. I played COD for the rest of the night.

January 12, Entry 25

Tonight we have a basketball game against Alburnett. We usually win against them but I don't know how good their sophomores are. Last year we won because I stole the ball from the point and made a layup. I totally fouled her though. I thought they were going to call it but they didn't. The girl that I stole the ball from was really mad that they didn't call the foul. That's the only thing I remember from that game though. I hope we don't play in the old, sucky gym tonight. The JV boys and Varsity boys and girls also have a game. The varsity should do good. The JV boys always have really tall people on the other teams that we play which gives our JV boys a disadvantage. Entry 20

For New Years Eve, I had a party. There were around 15 people there. While waiting for people to show up, we watched America's Funniest Home Videos. When everyone showed up, we went downstairs. Downstairs, we watched T.V., ate snacks, played foosball, and played board games. A couple of times everyone was crowded around the foosball table. There was one person on each handle. Both were intense games. We played a couple of games of Apples to Apples, both having about 6 people each game. The boys had to leave by one. After all the boys left, we watched T.V. for a while and then went to bed. My New Years party was really fun.

Entry 22

I am in basketball right now. I don’t like basketball but I told my parents that I was going to try it. I wish I wouldn’t have because I’m getting better all the time so I just don’t want to quit cold turkey. I like shooting hoops but I don’t like the game. I can’t handle the ball the best but I am quick. I still can’t decide if I’m going to go out for it next year or not. Soccer is the best sport. It’s my favorite. I can run fast and I can handle the ball really well. I can do a few tricks but not that many. I can’t wait for track! It is my second favorite sport. I run the 100 m dash, 4x1 sometimes, and long jump. My fastest at the 100 m dash is 12.78. I almost beat the high school record! My longest jump for long jump is 15 feet.

Entry 23

My Christmas was fun. I liked my PS3 and Wii. I didn’t like that my brother couldn’t get his kids. He usually comes out to my dads with his kids. We open presents, then go to my moms and open presents there. This year he didn’t have his kids so we had to open presents with them another day.

This year my brother brought his girlfriend with him. We opened presents and talked for a while. I also played my PS3. After we were done with that, my brother took me to my moms. Him and his girlfriend stayed there and we opened presents. We ate after opening presents. We had eggs, hash browns, toast, pancakes, bacon, and sausage. That is a good breakfast! After eating, I played my Wii. They left after a while. I played my Wii pretty much the rest of the day, even after they left. That was my Christmas day. I guess it was kind of boring but I got good presents.

January 5, Entry 24

My favorite gifts I got for Christmas was my PS3 and Wii. I only got Wii Sports and I'm getting bored playing that game all the time. For my PS3, I got Infamous, Batman, and Saints Row 2. I also got a Blue-Ray disc, The Dark Knight. That is a good movie, but very long. The other movie I got was Transformers Revenge of the Fallen. That is an awesome movie! It's really long though.

Other things I got for Christmas: Risk, Uno Attack, Monopoly Deal, gloves, money, and a guitar for Guitar Hero.
